Things I Know To Be True
by Andrew Bovell
The Price family are not as mad as your family but they come close. Bob and Fran are forced, as parents, to deal with a broken heart, a crumbling marriage, sexual identity and criminal behaviour. But like in any family, the confrontations are hilarious, loving and cruel in equal measure. Every parent will tell you insanity is hereditary; you get it from your children. But every child wonders, since having a piano does not make you a pianist, why should having children make you a parent?
